Grant Park Security Patrol (GPSP) GRANT PARK SECURITY PATROL CRIME UPDATE AND LOOKOUT There have been several pedestrian robberies in our area recently and one occurred on Park Avenue in the 500 block at 10 PM on Friday night. The victim was walking his dog and was approached by two black males who demanded his wallet. The took of on foot. There were two other robberies in East Atlanta. One on Glenwood near Moreland and the other at the ice cream shop on Moreland. Both of those occurred over the weekend at night and the victims were also approached by young black males who either showed weapons or said they had weapons. There is a lookout for a white Dodge or Chrysler sedan with Florida tag. This vehicle was used in 2 smash and grab burglaries. One burglary was on Woodland Ave. in Ormewood Park yesterday afternoon and the other burglary was in the 600 block of Hill Street last week. In both burglaries the suspects were young black males and they jumped out of the car and quickly kicked in a door and grabbed Tvs and other electronics. There have been several vehicle larcenies near the restaurants along Memorial Drive and also at the entrance to Oakland cemetery. Please be careful to remove all valuables from your vehicles.
